If you're moving to Chicago and have a four legged family member, you'll be happy to know that Chicago is probably one of the most dog-friendly cities around. Dogs are everywhere!

Many people are often concerned that a high-density city like Chicago would't be the best place to own a dog. And while the condos and apartments may be on the small side, there are tons places for your pup to stretch his or her furry legs. Since we're lucky enough to sit on Lake Michigan with a 20 mile long path running along the shore and we have lots of walkable neighborhoods, going out to walk your dog can actually be very pleasant.
